Mr. Frieder is the Managing Partner of Kohlberg. He joined the Firm in 1989, was made a Partner in 1995 and named Managing Partner in 2006. Prior to joining Kohlberg, Mr. Frieder was a senior associate in the capital funding group at Security Pacific Business Credit and a senior real estate analyst at Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company. He is a member of the board of directors of AGY Holdings Corporation, Bauer Hockey, Bioscrip, Inc., Centerplate, Inc., Central Parking Corporation, Chronos Life Group, Concrete Technologies Worldwide, Hoffmaster Group Inc., Katy Industries, Inc., Kellermeyer Building Services L.L.C., Kohlberg Capital Corporation, Niagara Corporation, Nielsen & Bainbridge, Inc., Packaging Dynamics Corporation, Phillips Plastics Corporation, Pittsburgh Glass Works L.L.C., Stanadyne Corporation, SVP Holdings, Ltd., Thomas Nelson, Inc., and Trico Products, Inc. Mr. Frieder received an A.B. from Harvard College.
